The Car

This is the Craigslist ad for the Porsche 944 that I responded to, in July 2010.
It was a week before my 60th birthday.
I really was in need of a practical car. A 4WD Jeep or maybe a pick-up truck. Most of my life I had to be "practical" even having to have a basket on the front my bike so I could go to the grocery store for my Mom.
I have owned 6 Volvos and 3 were station wagons. Now we have a fast red car, so much for practicality!

    I had a 944S from 1988 for three years. It's great to take children to school and go shopping.

    I am glad that you could sell the idea that a 944 is practical, I could never get away with it.
